Etymology: French version of "Gerard" meaning "Brave Spear"
A high-ranking soldier in Larcuss's knight order, engaged to Layla. He is defeated by Altemüller in the fight at the citadel and is taken to Laffel to recuperate, but is left behind when enemies come to the church.
