Story

Since the time of Langrisser I, when the evil sword Alhazard and the Crusaders of Chaos were resealed, a hundred years have passed. There is no longer a Baldea Kingdom to continue protecting Langrisser, and Langrisser has faded to a sword of legend once again.

The Rayguard Empire's Kaiser Bernhardt obtained Alhazard after a search, and then launched invasions on all territories of the continent. He seeks to unify the continent, so that he can declare a permanent peace.

After the true power sealed in Alhazard is released, the dreams of many kings will be broken as Emperor Bernhardt achieves his great ambition of Unity of the Continent. However, behind the scenes, since the underlying aspirations of Prince of Darkness Böser and Alhazard are involved, as a result, the battle for Unity of the Continent that Bernhardt commenced involves not only the empire, but also the Crusaders of Chaos, who try to advance the three-way war that also involves the Descendants of Light.

Mage Hein continues his travels, meeting the young man Erwin, descendant of Ledin. As he returns to his hometown for a short visit, both Hein and Erwin are drawn into the eddy of a war in which they never thought a country of their size would be involved.

Codes

Multimedia Test: Place the cursor next to any save in the Load menu and press Left, Right, Select, A. A menu will appear allowing you to listen to BGM or Sound Effects. In the English translation, a third Battle Test is available to force any unit to fight any other unit.

Scenario Select: Place the cursor next to any save in the Load menu and press Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Select, A.

Secret Shop: From the Equipment menu, highlight Buy and press Left, Right, Right, Down, Right, Up, A. You will be able to purchase most equipment in the game.

Super Secret Shop: From the Equipment menu, highlight Buy and press Left, Up, Right, Down, Right, Up, Left, Select, Down, Right, Left, Select, A. You will be able to purchase an item in the game.

Debug Mode: Board member yugisokubodai discovered this. It allows you to control everyone, take multiple turns, cast any magic, etc. Down, Left, Up, Right, A, Left, Up, B, Down, Right, A, B, Down, Right, A. (Need to test!)
